WEST GRAN CANYON TOUR

The first stop is in the SEVEN MAGIC MOUNTAINS. The Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale site-specific public art installation located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, Seven Magic Mountains is situated within the Ivanpah Valley adjacent to Sheep Mountain and the McCullough, Bird Spring, and Goodsprings ranges of mountains. A creative expression of human presence in the desert, Seven Magic Mountains punctuates the Mojave with a poetic burst of form and color.

Hoover Dam

The second stop, Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam (originally known as Boulder Dam) is an inspiring symbol of American engineering, built during America’s Great Depression as the then-largest dam construction project in the world. Travelers have flocked here for decades to see picturesque views of Lake Mead

the third stop is in Arizona’s Joshua Tree Forest. It is an important part of the Mojave Desert ecosystem, providing habitat for numerous birds, mammals, insects, and lizards. Joshua tree forests tell a story of survival, resilience, and beauty borne through perseverance. They are the silhouette that reminds those of us who live here that we are home.

West Grand Canyon

Last stop West Grand Canyon. When you visit Grand Canyon West, you are entering the Hualapai reservation, established in 1883. More than 1,600 people live here, with 1,353 tribal members. As a sovereign Indian nation, the Tribe is self-sufficient. One tribal enterprise is Grand Canyon West, offering an alternative to the Grand Canyon National Park. Guests are in for a real treat as they experience their heritage and rich traditions of the Hualapai Nation.
